Gluten Free Fried Chicken Wings

Gluten Free Fried Chicken WingsMy famous gluten free chicken wings! Everyone loves these and I make them so much for church pot lucks that people keep asking me where's the recipe so finally put it here on the website!

These wings have become so well known with my church friends that one of them who does Catering even asked me to make them for one of her Celiac clients since my kitchen is 100% gluten free.

Ingredients:

Essential Kicthen tools needed:  Electric Skillet is best.  Or use iron skillet. I love the electric better.  Thongs, large bowl for soaking in brine, bowl for flour.

Bob Red Mills All Purpose Gluten Free Flour (they have it at both HEB and Whole Foods)

Fresh Rosemary if you have it.

Garlic Pepper (HEB)

Kosher Salt

Water for brine

Grapeseed Oil (from HEB)

Chicken Drumettes

Soak the drumettes in salt water brine over night or a few hours depending the time you have.  Rinse off.

Put oil in Electric Skillet

Mix flour, salt, garlic pepper and chopped rosemary together.  Coat wings with flour.

Fry up 8 wings at a time in skillet.  Brown on one side.  After turning over and frying for about 5 more minutes, uncover the skillet and let fry for a few minutes more to crisp up.

Lay on paper towels to soak up extra oil.

Enjoy!
