I found this recipe and tweaked it! It's really more like a stew and is so unbelievably flavorable!!
3 packages stew meat
Onion
Small Jalapeño and some Pablano pepper (we had the Pablano left over from the grill the night before)
removed seeds (I used the other peppers from our garden and definately had to remove the seeds!) Turned out with just the right heat!
2 Large Beef Steak Tomatoes cut up (I used fresh tomatoes right from our garden but you could use a 15 oz can of diced tomatoes)
3 cloves garlic
2 cups Gluten Free Pacific Chicken Broth ( I used this because of using the fresh tomatoes and wanted more liquid and it turned out awesome!)
1 package organic chili mix (from Whole Foods)
1/4 t cinnamon
1/4 t cumin
Kosher Salt
Garlic Pepper and some regular coarse pepper
Sauté meat in 3 Tablespoons of canola oil
Cut up onion, tomatoes, peppers, garlic and add to crock pot
Add broth
Cook 5 hours in slow cooker
Topped with Creame Frische or sour cream and some cilantro from our garden!
