Thursday, 06/05/14 - The Potential Impact of Gluten on Your Brain, Thyroid and Body

The thyroid is the #3 autoimmune condition that's very common with gluten sensitivity. The first one is celiac. The second one is type I diabetes. And, the third one is thyroid disease.

I sat down with America's Pharmacist Suzy Cohen to discuss the impact of gluten on the brain, body and thyroid, and I want you to know why this is  important for you to hear with this quote from our talk:

"If you check thyroid patients for gluten sensitivity, or gluten sensitivity patients for thyroid, you see that they’re correlated, that about ballpark, 1 out of 4 is going to have the connection of both of them together. That’s very, very common."

But, what do you do about it?

Gluten’s Effect on Your Brain, Thyroid and Body by Dr. Tom O'Bryan

  • A “grain of truth” about traditional and gluten-free muffins, bagels and pasta
  • A new way to evaluate gastrointestinal permeability
  • The value of Vitamin D, probiotics and other nutritional supplements
  • Beware of cross-sensitivities like coffee and other surprising foods

Enjoy the Journey!
