Thursday, 05/01/14 - Celiac Awareness Month 2014

From my friends and colleagues at

Celiac Awareness Month 2014 has begun!

I would like to salute the patients, researchers, practitioners, educators and advocates across the planet who are working in so many different ways to enhance the well-being of those with gluten-related disorders.

We know that about one percent of the population may suffer from celiac disease, whether they are aware of it or not, and studies currently are saying anywhere from six to twenty percent of the population may be suffering from non-celiac gluten sensitivity, so the task of raising awareness is absolutely ESSENTIAL. Let's do it together!

Will you be participating in any activities to raise awareness about gluten-related disorders? I would love to hear what you have planned.

We want you to enjoy your journey in good health!  If you have any questions, or would just like to chat with me about some concerns you have, food ideas, etc. just give me a shout!

Looking forward to chatting with you!
